Broadsands to Brixham Run
This was a bracing 10.4K run along the stunning coast path route from Broadsands to Brixham. Park in the car park at Broadsands and follow the clearly marked coast path route to Elberry Cove then head via Churston Cove up to the Brixham Battery heritage Centre and then down the steep path to Fishcombe Cove. Head up through the archway at the far end of the beach and follow the path towards Brixham passing the beautiful new fish market and then carry on around the harbour.
On the return route, if you don't like retracing your steps, head through the woods following the signs to Churston instead of heading down to Churston Cove. This path along a short stretch of the John Musgrove Heritage Trail, takes you past the lovely Churston Court, perfect for a glass of mulled wine to warm you up before continuing through the golf course and back down to Broadsands.
