Campaigning in Villages near Salcombe

On the second day of my campaign, I went to public meetings in South Milton and Thurlestone to listen to people's views on Europe and immigration. The importance of British sovereignty and resisting European interference were raised time and again. At Thurlestone the main issue addressed was waste in the NHS and the burden of bureaucracy.

I then went canvassing in Hope Cove and Galmpton. In the evening I attended a meeting at the Flavel Arts Centre in Dartmouth to support a talk in aid of the Citizens Advice Bureau, given by Lord Boyce, the former Chief of Defence Staff.
