West Charleton Village Hall Meeting
The public meeting at West Charleton was smaller and ran as a discussion forum. This is my favourite way to debate important political issues and I am fascinated at the way two meetings, even a short distance apart, will raise such different issues of concern. Some of course are the same, Europe always a hot topic in the South Hams. But in West Charleton, Afghanistan and immigration policy were raised as well as housing and the NHS.
